Magdaraos ng hiwalay na confirmation hearings sa Martes ang Commission on Appointments.

Isasalang sa congressional CA si Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac at 33 newly promoted military generals and colonels ng Arned Forces of the Philippines.

Ayon kay Congressman Johnny Pimentel, Assistant Minority Leader ng CA, isasalang si Cacdac sa confirmation hearing ng CA’s Committee on Labor, Employment, Social Welfare and Migrant Workers na pinamumunuan ni Negros Occidental Representative Mercedes Alvarez.

Ang CA’s Committee on National Defense naman na pinamumunuan ni Camiguin Representative Jurdin Jesus Romualdo ang didinig sa credentials ng 33 senior military officers.

Sila ay pinamumunuan ni Army Lt. Gen. Facunda Palafox IV, ang bagong commander ng unified Southern Luzon Command.

Kasama din sa isasailalim sa confirmation hearing ng CA ang 28 new colonels mula sa ibat-ibang armed services ng AFP.

Tiniyak din ni Pimentel na walang natatanggap na reklamo ang CA laban sa mga appointee na isasailalim sa confirmation.

Magtatapos na ang sesyon ng Kongreso ngayong linggo at ang hindi makukumpirma ng CA ay maituturing na bypassed ang appointment.
