NAKALINYANG REPORMA, MAKATUTULONG SA PAGLAGO, PAGPAPARAMI NG NEGOSYO AT TRABAHO — SPEAKER ROMUALDEZ

Mayroon umanong mga repormang nakalinya upang lumago at dumami ang mga negosyo sa bansa na magbibigay ng mapapasukang trabaho at magbibigay ng magandang bukas sa mga Pilipino, ayon kay Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez. 

Sa kanyang talumpati sa ika-44 National Conference ng Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) na ginanap sa Manila Hotel, sinabi ni Romualdez na ang polisiya ng administrasyon ay kumikilala sa kahalagahan ng mga employer sa pag-unlad ng bansa.

“The Philippine government, under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. recognizes this and is committed to fostering an environment that bolsters your efforts,” ani Speaker Romualdez.

Nagpasalamat din si Speaker Romualdez sa mga lider ng mga negosyante sa kanilang pagharap sa hamong dala ng COVID-19 pandemic sa pamamagitan ng pagpapanatiling bukas ng kanilang mga negosyo upang may mapasukan ang mga empleyadong Pilipino.

“On behalf of the 19th Congress and the Filipino people, I express my heartfelt gratitude and admiration for your courage and perseverance,” sabi ng lider ng Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso.

“Our President, Bongbong Marcos, and we in the 19th Congress recognize and appreciate your significant role, not only as economic drivers but as stalwart partners in navigating these tumultuous times. We've seen firsthand your determination to keep the Philippine economy resilient amidst the global crisis,” dagdag pa ni Speaker Romualdez.

Upang maka-enganyo ng mga dagdag na mamumuhunan sa bansa, sinabi ni Romualdez na kaisa ng administrasyong Marcos ang Kongreso sa pagbawas ng red tape at pagpapadala ng pagtatayo ng negosyo sa bansa.

“Recognizing the advent of the digital economy, we've championed the Digital Philippines program. This is a dual effort to enhance our digital infrastructure and arm our workforce with the necessary digital skills, creating an avenue for more job opportunities in the tech sector,” sabi ni Romualdez.

“Moreover, we are committed to ensuring that our economic growth is inclusive and sustainable. We are prioritizing sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, and services, which are crucial for job creation, particularly for marginalized communities,” dagdag pa nito.

Sinabihan din ni Speaker Romualdez ang mga foreign dignitaries na dumalo sa pagtitipon na ngayon ang tamang panahon para magnegosyo sa bansa dahil malakas ang ekonomiya at popular ang Pangulo.

Binanggit din ni Speaker Romualdez ang pag-apruba ng Kamara sa 33 sa 42 panukala na prayoridad na maisabatas ng Legislative-Executive Advisory Council (LEDAC) na naglalayong magtuloy-tuloy ang pag-unlad ng bansa.

Sinabi ni Romualdez na kasama sa mga panukalang ito ang Maharlika Investment Fund bill na gagamitin upang makalikom ng pondo para sa mga malalaking proyekto ng gobyerno.

Nagpasalamat din ni Speaker Romualdez sa tulong ng mga miyembro ng ECOP sa gobyerno para magtuloy-tuloy ang pagbangon ng bansa.

“I am confident that with the continued collaborative efforts of the Marcos administration, the 19th Congress, and the Employers Confederation of the Philippines, we can achieve a prosperous and resilient economy, offering a brighter future for all Filipinos,” dagdag pa nito.
