"It's very heartwarming to see the return of the community pantry during this situation in Albay. Community pantries symbolized malasakit and hope for Filipinos during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. I am happy and humbled to serve as an instrument of this laudable initiative that would benefit the evacuees," ani Speaker Romualdez.

“We learned that Cong. Cabredo intends to buy vegetables from farmers affected by Mayon's outbursts and give these away for free to evacuees via the planned community pantry. This is definitely worth emulating as it would maximize the number of people who would benefit from this initiative,” sabi pa ni Speaker Romualdez.

Edcel Lagman at 2nd district Rep. Joey Salceda.

Tingog, SFMR aid Ormoc fire victims

TINGOG Party-list and the Office of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez on Friday spearheaded the distribution of relief items to fire victims in Ormoc City.

At least 346 individuals from 72 families in 65 households in a resettlement village have received mosquito blankets, slippers, towels, toiletries, and other primary necessities.

The fire incident happened last Thursday evening, a day before the fiesta celebration of Brgy. Danao where the village is situated.

The recipients were also victims of the July 2017 quake that hit Ormoc, City, and its nearby municipalities, taking the lives of two residents and leaving multi-million pesos worth of damages in infrastructure.

Brgy. Danao Chairman Richard Impas has thanked Tingog and Speaker Romualdez for aiding the fire victims.(END) wantta join us? sure, manure...
