PH, Japan ibinahagi pinakamahusay na kasanayan sa paggawa ng batas

Nagpalitan ang mga matataas na opisyal ng Kamara de Representantes at Japan ng mga pinamahuhusay na kasanayan at mga inobasyon sa paggawa ng mga batas.

Pinangunahan ni Secretary General Reginald “Reggie” S. Velasco ang delegasyon ng Pilipinas sa pulong kay House of Representatives International Affairs Department Director General Yamamoto Hironori ng Japan.

Ayon kay Velasco, binigyang-diin sa pagpupulong, na ginanap sa Second Annex Building (Daini Bekkan) ng House of Representatives sa Tokyo, Japan, ang pagnanais ng dalawang bansa na mapalakas ang kooperasyong parlyamentaryo at paghusayin ang mga pamamaraan sa paggawa ng batas.

“Our exchange with Director General Yamamoto provides us with invaluable insights that can help refine our legislative practices and better serve our constituents,” ani Velasco kasabay ng kanyang paggiit sa kahalagahan ng pagtutulungan sa pagpapa-unlad at pagpapabuti ng proseso ng paggawa ng batas.

“We are committed to adopting innovative approaches that promote transparency, accountability and efficiency in our legislative work,” dagdag pa nito.

Ipinahayag naman ni Director General Yamamoto ang kanyang sigasig para sa pakikipagtulungan at binigyan-diin ang dedikasyon ng Japan sa pagbabahagi ng kanilang kaalaman sa paggawa ng batas sa Pilipinas, na matagal na nitong kaibigan at may mahabang kasaysayan ng kooperasyon.

Sinabi pa ni Director General Yamamoto na ang partnership ng Japan at Pilipinas ay nabuo ng mayroong paggalang sa isa’t isa at naglalayon na mapabuti ang paggawa ng batas at natutuwa sila na ibahagi ang kanilang karanasan.

Ang talakayan ng dalawang lider ng lehislatura ay nakatuon sa ilang pangunahing bahagi gaya ng digital transformation ng legislative process, epektibo mekanismo para makuha ang sentimyento ng publiko, at mga estratehiya sa pagpapahusay ng pangangasiwa sa lehislatura.

Nagkasundo ang dalawang partido sa kahalagahan ng patuloy na pagtutulubgan upang matugunan ang mga hamon at magkaroon ng oportunidad na lumikha ng makabuluhang pagbabago.

Sinabi ni Velasco na sa Pilipinas, ang Kamara de Representantes ay nagsagawa ng maraming inobasyon gaya ng digitalization ng mga operasyon kaugnay ng paggawa ng batas, at pagpapaganda ng cybersecurity nito na ginawa ng tanggapan ni House Secretary General Director II Arnold P. de Castro.

“This exchange is part of a broader initiative to strengthen bilateral relations between the Philippines and Japan, fostering deeper cooperation across various sectors. As both countries continue to navigate complex global challenges, such partnerships are crucial in promoting good governance and sustainable development,” sabi ni Velasco.

“The Philippine House of Representatives remains dedicated to pursuing initiatives that enhance its legislative capabilities and foster international cooperation. Through engagements like this, the House aims to build a responsive legislative institution that meets the evolving needs of the Filipino people,” dagdag pa nito.
