'Young Guns' ng Kamara suportado utos ni PBBM na bawasan taripa sa imported na bigas
Nagpahayag ng suporta ang mga miyembro ng "Young Guns' ng Kamara de Representantes sa desisyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na ibaba sa 15% ang kasalukuyang 35% taripa na ipinapataw sa imported na bigas upang bumaba ang presyo ng bigas sa mga pamilihan.
Ayon kay House Assistant Majority Leader at Zambales 1st District Rep. Jay Khonghun ang pasya na ito ng Pangulo ay magdadala ng malaking kaginhawaan sa ating mga kababayan.
“It is a clear indication of his administration's focus on making essential commodities affordable and accessible to all Filipinos. This move will help stabilize rice prices and prevent any potential supply issues,” ani Khonghun.
Sinegundahan naman ito ni Deputy Majority Leader at PBA Party-list Rep. Margarita “Atty. Migs” Nograles at sinabi na milyong pamilya ang makikinabang sa hakbang na ito na pagpapababa ng taripa.
“This policy will provide immediate financial relief to families struggling with high food costs and contribute to overall economic stability,” saad ni Nograles na isang abogado.
“President Marcos has shown his commitment to addressing the needs of our people,” dagdag pa niya.
Kapwa naman makikinabang ang mga mamimili at ang sektor ng agrikultura sa tapyas sa tariff rates ayon kay Assistant Majority Leader at Union 1st District Rep. Francisco Paolo Ortega V
“By lowering the cost of rice, we are ensuring that every Filipino has access to this staple food at a reasonable price. This is a step in the right direction towards achieving food security,” paglalahad ni Ortega.
Suportado rin ito ni Davao Oriental 2nd District Rep. Cheeno Miguel Almario dahil sa napapanahon at kinakailangan ang pamamagitan na ito ng Pangulo.
“It reflects his administration's dedication to improving the lives of ordinary Filipinos. This policy will help mitigate the effects of inflation and ensure that rice remains affordable for everyone,” sabi ni Almario. (END)
