APEC LEADERS MEETING SA THAILAND, VENUE PARA MAIBIDA NI PBBM ANG GUMAGANDANG EKONOMIYA NG PILIPINAS

Panibagong oportunidad para kay Pang. Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na maibida ang Pilipinas sa mga negosyante at mamumuhunan ang pagdalo nito sa Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders Meeting sa Thailand.

 

Ayon kay House Speaker Martin Romualdez, malaking pagkakataon na maipakita ng chief executive sa APEC ang gumagandang lagay ng ekonomiya ng bansa lalo at mga developed countries ang kasama sa pulong.

 

Mahalaga din aniya sa mga ganitong pulong na makabuo ng mabutin relasyon sa ibang bansa upang maitulak ang interes ng Pilipas sa pakikipag-negosyo at sa pamumuhunan.

 

Ang APEC Ay isang inter-governmental forum na kinabibilangan ng 21 bansa sa Pacific Rim na nagsusulong ng free trade sa kabuuan ng Asia-Pacific region.

 

Kabilang sa APEC Member States ang Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, the United States, at Vietnam.

 

“So I think now is the time to herald that the Philippines is doing well, its economy is doing well, and now is the time to invest in the Philippines so that we get more foreign direct investments for the capital that we need to generate more jobs for and livelihood for the Filipinos and to bring about a stronger and more vibrant economy so that all Filipinos have a safe and comfortable life,” saad ng House Speaker.
