Kamara isinumite 2024 GAB sa Senado, P194.5B halaga na-realign sa pagpapalakas ng seguridad, labanan ang inflation, food security 

Pormal nang naisumite ng Kamara de Representantes sa Senado ang kopya ng inaprubahan nitong P5.768 trilyong national budget para sa 2024.

Nakapaloob sa panukala, ang P194.5 bilyong na inilipat ng Kamara ang pagkakagastusan para palakasin ang national security ng bansa, proteksyunan ang bansa laban sa epekto ng pandaigdigang inflation at tiyaking ang seguridad sa pagkain.

Sa maikling mensahe, inihayag ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ang pasasalamat nito sa mga miyembro ng Kamara sa ginawang pagbusisi at pagtiyak na hayag ang pagtalakay sa pambansang pondo na nagresulta sa mabilis na pagkaka apruba ng budget bill.

“I am proud of the finished product that we are now handing over formally to the Senate. The House of the People remained steadfast in its commitment to timely, transparent budgeting, free from the shadows of pork barrel. We meticulously scrutinize every peso, ensuring that it serves the welfare and aspirations of the nation and our people," sabi ni Romualdez.

Ayon sa lider ng Kamara masinsinang inaral ang pondo para sa 2024 upang maging angkop ito sa gagawing pagtugon sa kinahaharap na problema ng mga ordinaryong Pilipino lalo na sa gitna ng global inflation at tumataas na presyo ng mga bilihin.

“The House has made significant institutional and individual amendments to provide immediate relief and long-term solutions for this particular problem,” aniya.

"The rising costs have undeniably affected our fellow Filipinos. It is our duty to respond promptly and effectively. With the amendments we've incorporated, we aim to alleviate the burden on every household and ensure that basic needs remain accessible and affordable," dagdag pa ni Romualdez.

Bilang pagtalima sa desisyon ng Korte Suprema ay nagpatupad ang Kamara ng reporma para sa tuluyang pagbuwag ng pork barrel system. 

“The House remains firm in its commitment to uphold transparency, accountability, and good governance,” wika niya.

"We have taken stringent measures to ensure that every peso is allocated judiciously and in accordance with the law. Our reforms stand as a testament to our unwavering dedication to serve the Filipino people with integrity," saad pa ng House leader.

Maliban sa pagpapasalamat sa pagtatrabaho ng lahat ng miyembro ng Kapulungan ay kinilala din ni Speaker Romualdez ang patuloy na matatag na ugnayan ng Senado sa pangunguna ni Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri para sa pagpapabuti ng kalagayan ng bansa.
