Mga nagawa ni PBBM gamiting pundasyon sa gagawin ni Laurel sa DA

Pinuri ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez ang pagtatalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa negosyanteng si Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr. bilang kalihim ng Department of Agriculture (DA).

Ayon kay Speaker Romualdez maaaring gamitin ni Laurel ang mga nagawa ng Pangulo sa sektor ng agrikultura at pangingisda bilang pundasyon ng kanyang mga gagawing reporma sa ahensya para maparami ang suplay ng pagkain sa bansa.

Hindi agad nagtalaga si Pang. Marcos ng kalihim ng DA nang maupo ito sa Malacañang at pinamunuan muna ang ahensya habang naghahanap ng nararapat na indibidwal sa puwesto.

Nagpasalamat naman si Speaker Romualdez sa dedikasyong ipinakita ni Pang. Marcos sa paghawak nito sa DA.

“His tireless efforts have laid a solid foundation for the Department, addressing crucial issues and setting clear goals to uplift the lives of our farmers and fisherfolk. Si Laurel ang pangulo ng Frabelle Fishing Corp. Siya ay naging opisyal din ng iba pang kompanya gaya ng Frabelle Shipyard Corp. at Westpac Meat Processing Corp.

Ayon kay Speaker Romualdez ang malawak na karanasan ni Laurel ay makatutulong sa pagpapa-unlad ng sektor ng pagsasaka at pangingisda.

Ang pagtatalaga umano sa lider ng Frabelle Fishing Corp. ay pagpapakita ng kahalagahan ng pribadong sektor sa pagpaparami ng suplay ng pagkain at pag-angat ng ekonomiya ng bansa, at paggamit ng teknolohiya sa agrikultura.

“His firsthand experience in managing a elarge-scale operation gives him insights into the intricacies of supply chains, market demands, and global trends. Ayon sa lider ng Kamara ang pagsasama ng pribadong sektor at agrikultura ay hindi lamang negosyo.
