Pinal na bersyon ng IRR ng Maharlika, gagarantiyang hindi maiimpluwensyahan ng politika ang pondo – Speaker Romualdez 

Ikinalugod ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez na nailabas na ang pinal na bersyon ng implementing rules and regulations (IRR) kaugnay ng pamamahala sa Maharlika Investment Corporation, na titiyak umanong hindi maimpluwensyahan ng politika ang paggamit ng Maharlika Investment Fund.

“This move is a significant step towards enhancing corporate governance and ensuring that the MIF is managed with the utmost transparency and accountability,” ani Speaker Romualdez, kasabay ng papuri nito kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., sa ginawang pagpapalakas ng pagiging independence ng Board of Directors ng MIC.

 

“The autonomy of the MIC Board allows for more objective and effective decision-making, free from undue political influence. This is crucial in overseeing a fund of this magnitude, which is pivotal to our nation's economic growth,” punto pa ni Romualdez na lider ng higit 300 mambabatas.

 

“The final IRR, as introduced by the President, clarify the Board's discretionary powers while ensuring adherence to the law and alignment with the nation's socioeconomic development program,” saad ng pangulo ng Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), ang pinakamalaking partido sa Kongreso sa kasalukuyan.

Tinukoy ni Speaker Romualdez ang atas ng Chief Executive sa MIC Board na magkaroon ng “independence,” bilang patotoo sa matatag at maayos na pamamahala upang mas makahikayat ito ng tiwala ng mga mamumuhunan at makaakit pa ng dagdag na pamumuhunan sa bansa.

“President Marcos' directive to review and strengthen the IRR of the MIF underscores the importance of safeguarding this national asset,” aniya.

Ang mga bumubuo aniya ng MIC Board ay magbibigay kasiguruhan sa isang mahusay at kolektibong perspektibo sa pangangasiwa ng pondo.

 

Pawang mga bihasa at nirerespetong lider mula sa pribado at pampublikong sektor ang bumubuo sa MIC Board of Directors. 

 

Kumpiyansa ang Speaker na sa pag-usad na ito ay mas mararamdaman ng ordinaryong Pilipino ang matatag na ekonomiya na magreresulta sa mas maraming trabaho, mas maayos na serbisyo publiko at mas maginhawang pamumuhay.

Tiwala naman si Speaker Romualdez sa kakayanan ni Pang. Marcos upang maging operational na ang MIF bago matapos ang taon, upang mapakinabangan na ito ng bansa.
