Nagpasalamat ang mga kongresista mula sa Davao Region sa tulong na ipinaabot nina Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez sa mabilis na pagpapadala ng tulong sa mga biktima ng pagbaha sa Davao region.

Ang pinakahuling tulong na ipinarating ng mga ito sa mga biktima ay ang 51,000 food packs at pag-endorse sa P150 milyong cash assistance.

Ayon sa mga kongresista ang pagtulong sa mga biktima ay nagbibigay ng konteksto sa kung ano ang Bagong Pilipinas campaign ng administrasyong Marcos, na nakatuon sa isang all-inclusive plan para sa economic at social transformation ng mga Pilipino at mailapit ang gobyerno sa mga mamamayan.

Ang pasasalamat kina Marcos at Romualdez ay ipinaabot nina Davao Oriental Reps. Nelson Dayanghirang at Cheeno Almario, Davao del Norte Rep. Aldu Dujali, Davao de Oro Rep. Maricar Zamora, at PBA Partylist Rep. Migs Nograles. Sila ay nakatanggap ng tig-P20 milyong halaga ng cash assistance.

Si Davao del Norte Vice Gov. Oyo Uy ay nilaanan naman ng P10 milyon halaga ng ayuda na ipamimigay nito sa mga apektadong residente.

Ang pondo ay galing sa Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Inasikaso rin ni Speaker Romualdez, at Tingog Reps. Yedda K. Romualdez at Jude Acidre ang pamimigay ng mga food pack.

“We are very grateful for the aid and food packs sent through the tireless efforts of our President and Speaker Romualdez. These will provide our constituents lifelines, especially those affected by the floods in Davao Oriental. This big gesture echoes loudly in our hearts," sabi ni Zamora.

“Ito ang tunay na Bagong Pilipinas: mabilis na aksyon, tunay na serbisyo,” sabi naman ni Dayanghirang.

Sinabi naman ni Almario na nagpapasalamat ang kanyang mga constituent sa ipinarating na tulong ng gobyerno na inendorso ni Speaker Romualdez.

"Deepest gratitude to President Marcos Jr. and Speaker Romualdez for their compassionate support during this challenging time in Davao region. The gesture speaks volumes, providing not only essentials but also a sense of solidarity that uplifts spirits,” sabi ni Almario.

“Damang-dama namin na andito ang ating pamahalaan at laging handang tumulong sa mga mamamayan. Ito ang tunay na diwa ng Bagong Pilipinas,” dagdag pa nito.

Kinilala rin nina Dujali, Zamora at Nograles ang tulong ng Pangulo at Speaker Romualdez, na humingi rin ng 30,000 food pack mula sa DSWD.

“In times of crisis, actions speak louder than words. Thank you for recognizing the urgency and making a real difference in the lives of those affected by the floods,” sabi ni Dujali.

"These are the actions that matter, not the political noise. Your quick response with cash aid and food is a true understanding of the needs of the people,” dagdag pa ni Zamora.

"Not just talk but meaningful action. President Marcos Jr. and Speaker Romualdez, your support is making a real impact on the ground in Davao City. Thank you for recognizing the urgency and delivering genuine help,” saad naman ni Nograles.

Nagpasalamat naman si Vice Gov. Uy sa suporta ng administrasyon.

"In times of crisis, true leaders shine, and we are grateful to President Marcos Jr. and Speaker Romualdez for their immediate help. The cash aid and food packs are invaluable to the people of Davao del Norte, proving that solidarity can bring real relief,” sabi ni Uy.
