Ikinalugod ni Anakaluaugan party-list Rep. Ray Reyes ang pagkakasama ng reporma sa Universal Health Care Law (UHC) sa LEDAC priority measures ng pamahalaan.

Ang UHC Law amendment ay isa sa limang bagong LEDAC bills na tinukoy bilang prayoridad na target mapagtibay hanggang June 2024.

"I always say that President Marcos is the chief salesman of the Philippines and the priority measures identified by LEDAC show that he is ready to deliver on his promise of building a Bagong Pilipinas," ani Reyes

Patuloy naman isusulong ni Reyes na miasama sa amyenda sa UHC law ang libreng annual check up gaya ng blood sugar at cholesterol tests.

Sa paraan aniyang ito ay ma iinstitutionalize na ang Konsulta package ng Philhealth para sa mas magandang serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa mga Pilipino

Sa paraan din aniyang ito ay maiiwas ang mga health program para magamit sa pamomolitika.

“we need to make these programs more responsive by ensuring sustainability and continuity — regardless of political dynamics. We have to insulate these programs from political whims by embodying them in the LEDAC-approved Amendments to the UHC Law," sabi pa ng mambabatas
