Resolusyon na kumokondena sa pambobomba sa MSU, pinagtibay ng Kamara

Pinagtibay ng Kamara de Representantes ang resolusyon na nagpapahayag ng pagkondena ng Kapulungan sa nangyaring pambobomba sa isinasagawang misa sa gym ng Mindanao State University (MSU) sa Marawi City nitong nakalipas na Linggo.

Inaprubahan ng mga mambabatas ang House Resolution (HR) No. 1504 na iniakda nina Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” D. Gonzales, Jr., Majority Leader Manuel Jose “Mannix” M. Dalipe, Minority Leader Marcelino C. Libanan, Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander A. Marcos, at Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez, Jude A. Acidre, at Ziaur-Rahman “Zia” Alonto Adiong.

“The House of Representatives condemns this act of violence perpetrated against innocent students and undertaken in a place of learning. I condole with the families of those who died and sympathize with those injured in the blast,” saad ni Romualdez, lider ng Kamara de Representantes na mayroong mahigit 300 mambabatas.

Disyembre 3, 2023 nang yanigin ng pagsabog ang Dimaporo Gymnasium sa MSU na kumitil sa buhay ng apat na katao at ikinasugat ng maraming iba pa, karamihan ay mga estudyante.

Tinuran sa resolusyon ang insidente bilang isang lubhang nakababahala at malagim na trahedya na nangyari sa isang lugar ng pag-aaral at pagsasama-sama habang idinaraos ang banal na misa, nagbabantang sumira sa kapayapaang itinaguyod ng pamahalaan sa Mindanao, at nagdulot ng gulo at pagkabahala sa komonidad.

“It was reported that the terrorist attack happened after military actions against local terrorist groups in the region resulted to the death of a group leader of the Dawlah Islamiya-Maute group, a group linked to the ISIS that previously attempted to establish Marawi as part of the caliphate resulting in a five-month conflict causing numerous casualties in 2017,” saad sa resolusyon.

“There is an urgent need for a thorough investigation of this incident by the Philippine National Police, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process, and all government agencies concerned, to determine the perpetrators of these senseless and horrific killings," sabi pa rito.

Ipinaabot ng Kapulungan ang kanilang pakikisimpatiya sa pamilya at mahal sa buhay ng mga biktima at nangakong tutulungan ang mga naapektuhang residente upang masigurong ang mga responsable sa karumaldumal na insidente ay mapanagot.

“Acts of lawlessness, violence and terroristic activities, resulting to violent killings especially of innocent people, destruction of property, and disruption of public order and safety should never be tolerated, and have to be suppressed and eradicated in order to promote lasting peace and prosperity in Mindanao,” pahayag ng resolusyon.
