Wedding Message

First and foremost, Thank you Roxy & Dexter for allowing me and my wife to share in your special day. ... We are happy to celebrate this day with you!

We honor today’s momentous event as it is an authentic glimpse of the love that God has given you as a couple.

Today says it all! Your wedding day is the day your families and friends are rejoicing.

And couldn’t agree more with me that Marriage is a gift – an amazing blessing from above- yet it is not always a bed of roses.

It isn’t easy. Let me rephrase — a STRONG marriage is NOT easy.

In every relationship, there are ups and downs. It is NOT always perfect and conflict free. It is about confronting. It is not a stroll down easy road. It is more like a bumpy drive, through traits and weaknesses.

It is difficult because, it is the bonding together of two limited and imperfect human beings. This is what you both should remember, you are both human and you are both flawed.

But the good news is - your marriage is designed to succeed, so don't take anything less than it. Be both committed to your wedding vows.

Be sincere and open minded to one another, resolve issues before sleeping, never allow grudges and suspicion. Avoid bottling up issues.

Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults. Let your love keep burning like unquenchable fire and the God of love shall permanently establish your home and family.

Finally, pray to our  God Almighty to give you the grace to live with each other in peace and harmony; bear with one another's weaknesses and grow from each other’s strengths.

You are an imperfect couple and should learn to enjoy your differences.

May you both always flourish with every endeavour you undertake by God’s  grace.

So here’s to the bride and the bridegroom,
We’ll ask your success in our prayers,
And through life’s sunshine and dark shadows and challenges in marriage
May God’s grace may always be yours.

Cheers and Congratulations!

“We are happy about this encouraging piece of good news, especially for our people. The easing of inflation last month meant that food prices were still down despite the fact the December and the Christmas season usually see prices jumping to unreasonable levels,” saad ni Speaker Romualdez.

“This development is a testament to the collective effort and resilience of our people and the Marcos administration's commitment to make life better for every Filipino,” sabi niya.

“We have tamed the monster, cutting it down by more than half,” diin ng lider ng Kamara.

“We have to assist those in our agriculture sector, including those engaged in agri-business, so they can produce more. More rice, more fish, more vegetables, more staple food will translate to lower prices,” aniya.

“It’s a P60-billion fund, whose aim is to provide direct cash assistance to the ‘near poor’ or families earning up to P23,000 a month. At least 12 million households will benefit from it, including low-income workers like those in construction and factories, drivers, food service crew, and the like,” sabi ng House Speaker.

“If the program is successful, we can continue implementing it next year,” aniya.

“We will continue to monitor the prices of rice and other staples. If we notice an unreasonable and unjustified increase, we will not hesitate to recommend to the President the reimposition of a price limit,” saad ni Speaker Romualdez.

“We will aim to reach more areas, especially remote communities, as soon as possible so we could help more people. We hope this project would ultimately have a favorable impact on food prices, on inflation and on poverty in general,” aniya

(END) wantta join us? sure, manure...

“We are responding to the directive of Speaker Romualdez to investigate these very serious allegations. We will just get the consensus of members of the committee so we can start our hearings by Wednesday,” saad ni Acop.

“We cannot allow corruption to take root in the implementation of the modernization program. If we are to proceed with the modernization of our PUVs, we must make sure there is not even a whiff of irregularity,” dagdag pa niya.

Kahit na walang resolusyon o privilege speech na nananawagan na siyasatin ang isyu, ipinaliwanag ni Acop na maaaring magsagawa ng imbestigasyon ang kanyang komite motu proprio sa ilalim ng Section 2 ng House Rules of Procedure Governing Inquiries in Aid of Legislation.

Nakasaad sa naturang rules na: “Section 2. Modes of Initiation. – Inquiries may be initiated through the following modes:

a. motu proprio action of a committee on any matter within its jurisdiction upon a majority vote of all its Members: Provided, That the committee shall first seek authority from the Committee on Rules to proceed with their motu proprio inquiry;”

“So it is clear that under our rules, we can proceed with the investigation. And I believe this a matter that requires our urgent attention.

"While we stride towards modernity and efficiency, we remain steadfast in safeguarding the welfare and livelihood of our jeepney drivers, who are an integral part of this journey. Together, we can achieve a transportation system that is reflective of the Philippines' growth, respecting our traditions while paving the way for a more sustainable future,” saad ni Romualdez sa naunang pahayag

“As we embrace progress and innovation, it is imperative that we address the need for modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly transport systems. The jeepney modernization program is not just about upgrading vehicles; it's a comprehensive plan to rejuvenate our urban transportation landscape, making it safer, more reliable, and in tune with sustainable practices,” dagdag pa niya.
